The main reason Mountain View Lodge and Marina is such a great family vacation spot is that it is a family owned, family operated and a family oriented business. Lance and Kathy Vaughan bought Mountain View in April 2009.

When Lance and Kathy bought the property, they committed to maintaining the family atmosphere that has made Mountain View such a popular vacation destination. The Vaughan ‘Boys’, Jeremy, Travis and Tanner will be running the place. When Lance is not around he will be off drilling oil and gas wells trying to get us all cheaper gasoline at the pump. Kathy will also be in and out as time permits at her part time job in town.

They will be constantly improving the existing facilities. They will be making lots of upgrades, such as a new septic system for the lodge, new gas pump on the dock, remodeling the store, just to name a few. This summer you will find a well stocked convenience store with snack foods, fountain drinks and many of the necessities you find yourself needing when on vacation.

The ‘Rotary’ table will be out in front of the store for everyone to gather around and catch up on the World News.
